A copy of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s salary receipt from the 1992 modelling assignment has gone viral on the internet!
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan-one of the most successful actresses in Bollywood started her career as a model before making a big in the showbiz industry. She won the prestigious title of Miss World in 1994 and post that she went on to rule the glamorous industry. But do you know that like others, Aish too started out by taking up low-paying assignments? Do you know how much the actress used to earn in her modelling shoots before becoming Miss World? Well, a copy of Aishwarya’s salary slip from the 1992 modelling project has gone viral on the internet.
The salary receipt, shared by a Reddit user, is doing the rounds on social media. As per advertising firm Krupa Kreations’ invoice, Aishwarya got Rs 1500 for her modelling shoot back then. The bill dates back to May 23, 1992, and depicted the work that the actress did for a magazine assignment. The bill specifies that Aishwarya, who was ‘aged about 18 years at the time, ‘agreed to work as a model’ for a firm called Krupa Kreations. The bill carried her signature at the bottom and revealed that the deal was struck in Mumbai. Aishwarya’s address is also mentioned to be in Khar, at a building called Ram Laxmi Nivas. Interestingly, A Twitter user named Vimal Upadhyay posted a few photos of the Taal actress from the shoot and wrote, “Hello, Today I am celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the Fashion Catalogue published by me. Aishwarya Rai, Sonali Bendre, Niki Aneja, Tejaswini Kolhapure were few of the models posed for this Catalogue.”
Meanwhile, Aishwarya Rai recently made heads turn with her jaw-dropping looks at Cannes 2022. The actress attended the prestigious festival with her husband Abhishek Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya.
